Tomorrow, we will review Reflections, and angles in final preparation for our final test. Luckily, Emma has shown us how to reflect, so I won't have to.... "Great work!" said the grateful teacher. http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/spellits/activities_y5/activity8.shtml - Good practice for Tuesday!
On Wednesday night, the Boys' team took on the best in Derwentside. Following group wins against Burnhope, All Saints and Lanchester, the team took on Annfield Plain in their toughest game yet in the semi-finals. Thanks to heroic goalkeeping, defending and lovely passing moves, we won 3-1 and faced East Stanley in the final. In a tense match, Tanfield Lea won out 2-0 and lifted the Eddie Embleton Cup- a first trophy in 3 years! The boys really deserved it for their teamwork, determination and above all skill - we're very proud of them all! (Sorry, some of the pictures are rotated, so you'll need to crane your neck round!)
